Using Umber

Umber is made by 71 Labs and lives at umber.71labs.com.

Umber helps you discover and organize night-out ideas. You are responsible for deciding whether a place, event, reservation, route, or plan is right for you.

Recommendations

Recommendations may change based on availability, weather, location, opening hours, and provider information. Please confirm important details directly with the venue before you go.

Bookings and Third Parties

When Umber links to booking, maps, places, weather, or other services, those services may have their own terms and policies. Umber is not responsible for third-party availability, pricing, service, or content.

Google Maps Platform

Some Umber features use Google Maps Platform services, including Places and Weather APIs. Your use of those features is also subject to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference.

Acceptable Use

Do not post threats, harassment, hate speech, sexual exploitation, spam, scams, illegal material, or other abusive content. You must have permission to share what you post and respect other people’s privacy. Umber filters some abusive text and provides in-app reporting and blocking. We may remove content, cancel invitations, or restrict access following review. Do not misuse Umber, interfere with the service, attempt to access systems without permission, or use Umber in a way that harms other people or violates the law.

Umber Plus

Optional weekly, monthly and annual subscriptions provide the Plus features shown before purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings. Deleting Umber or your Umber account does not cancel an Apple subscription. You can restore eligible purchases in the app using the Apple Account that purchased them. Pricing, billing periods and available offers are shown in the purchase screen.

Apple processes payments and refund requests under its policies. Features depend on service and provider availability. Travel mode supports planning around a destination; it does not make bookings or provide a verified itinerary.

Changes

We may update these terms as Umber grows. Continued use of Umber after changes means you accept the updated terms.
